Taylor Archer joined Whitaker Technical in summer of 2022 to focus on recruiting mid to senior level engineering professionals in the refining and chemical industries. Although new to the Whitaker team, Taylor is already making a big impact through her ability to identify and recruit highly sought-after engineering professionals. She has a superior ability to build trust quickly in becoming a career advisor for her candidates.
Taylor started her recruiting career in the hospitality industry where she developed a passion for guiding people to their dream jobs and being an advocate for their career throughout the journey. She successfully built a staff from 6 to 112, was recognized as Most Improved with iPic in 2016 and Recruiter of the Year 2016.
Though restaurants were her bread and butter (no pun intended), she always seeks to push the boundaries of her comfort zone. In doing so, she landed at the doorsteps of Whitaker Technical.
Taylor earned a Bachelor of Science in Health with a concentration in Sociology and Chemistry from the University of Houston. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, traveling, and eating her way through new cultures.
